A small firm in Accra, quietly serving the diaspora.
Toivo Investment was founded in 2019 by Ghanaian real estate professionals who watched too many friends and family members lose money trying to build a house from abroad. We built the firm we wished existed.
Our principles
Six rules we hold ourselves to on every transaction.

We build what we sell
T.I is a developer as well as an investment firm. Where the right property doesn't exist, we design, break ground on, and project-manage it ourselves — under the same standards we apply to anything we resell.

Local presence is non-negotiable
Every T.I team member walks the buildings we manage. We have associates in Accra, Tema, and Kumasi. We do not buy what we have not stood inside.

Independent legal review, every time
The lawyer who reviews your purchase has no relationship with the seller and no incentive to close. We pay them whether the deal happens or not.

We say no often
The properties we present are a fraction of what we see. The honest answer to most listings on the open market is to walk away.

Quarterly truth-telling
The statement you receive every 90 days is the same statement we read internally. If a quarter goes badly, the statement says so.

Diaspora-first systems
Our processes — the embassy notarisation flow, USD-indexed leases, time-zone-aware reporting — are built for clients who do not live here.

T.I is intentionally small. The team is based in Accra with a US-based principal handling diaspora client relationships out of San Diego.

Bank partnerships
Escrow accounts held at Access Bank and Stanbic Bank — never with T.I directly.

We’d rather lose a deal than lose a relationship.
